We welcome the Chinese New Year and send our warmest New Year’s greetings to everyone celebrating today with our ceramic horse from the Foreign Trade Award. May the Year of the Fire Horse be full of energy, courage, and positive change.
The Chinese New Year begins at the end of February and is celebrated with the New Year Festival, also known as the Spring Festival. Like many other traditions, this festival is based on the Chinese lunar calendar. The Chinese New Year marks the transition to a new lunar year and always falls on the first day of the first month in the lunar calendar.
The exact date varies each year, as it depends on the first new moon between January 21 and February 21. This year, the Chinese New Year falls on Tuesday, February 17, and ends on March 3 with the Lantern Festival.
2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse and stands for energy, passion, independence, and courage, a powerful time for change and new paths. This combination is special because the element of fire only coincides with the horse every 60 years.
✨ We at Keramischer OFENBAU wish everyone a happy, successful, and inspiring new year! ✨
